Health Effects of 5G Radiation

The health risks of radiation from 5G are being debated. However, one study suggests a link between RF radiation and cancer in male rats.  5g towers radiation  was classified before it was declassified on the 12th of December 2012 by the Central Intelligence Agency, but it shows that radiofrequency can be a cause of cancer for animals and even humans. In the study, researchers exposed male rats to radiofrequency for 15 days and discovered that they developed similar types of cancers human beings do.

Health effects of radiation from 5G
The rapid expansion of wireless communications have led to development of 5G systems however, there is a growing concern regarding the health risks of 5G radiation. Although higher frequencies do not affect the body as much as previous technologies, researchers have pointed to possible health effects that are systemic and have called for more research. To ensure that the population is safe to protect the population, it is the European Commission is requesting independent studies to determine if this technology is posing any health risks.

It is important to note that there is a significant amount of misunderstanding about the health implications of 5G and it is vital to clear any misconceptions that persist. Although the technology isn't yet widespread but there are a lot of people who are being warned that it could cause health issues, most often via social media where sexy language is used.

Beamforming technique
Beamforming is among the most important technologies for the 5G wireless networks. It is a method that makes use of multiple radiating elements to generate a narrow beam. The goal of beamforming is to minimize any unwanted radiation in the signal that results. This method is typically used for wireless communication systems, and is vital to 5G's low-cost coverage.

This technique works by electronically weighing the signals of each antenna. This produces an extremely smaller beam of radiation which enhances coverage of cell phones indoors as well as around cell edges. This technique is important because poor coverage can lead to low user satisfaction. Along with increasing the signal quality beamforming reduces the amount of noise a user encounters from other devices.

Power density
The intensity of 5G radiation coming from cell towers will be similar to that of previous generations of 4G and 3G systems. One reason behind the low power density is the electrical components' sensitivity. The maximum radiation output of a 2G handset was about 2 Watts. The output of 4G phones was approximate 200 milliwatts.

The power density measures the amount of electromagnetic energy that can be absorbed into the body at a certain distance. Power density for  5g radiation   is typically expressed in Watts per square metre. Unlike the SAR measurement the power density measurement is actually a measure of the amount of electromagnetic energy in the space. The parameters for power density may differ for mobile devices and wearables depending on their operating frequency and distance.

Specific absorption
A Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is an measure that determines the speed at which a certain frequency deposits power into human tissues. In general, the SAR number must not exceed 2 watts per kilogram body mass. This figure is derived from the electric field within tissues and the density of mass, measured in kilograms per cubic millimeter. It was recently used to determine the antenna design.

The new radio technologies which comprise 5G operate on frequencies that are lower than 6 GHz. These frequencies are known as millimeter waves. However the FCC's SAR compliance protocol only applies to frequencies of up 6-GHz. Furthermore to that, the SAR test requires that measurements are conducted in phantoms containing tissue simulating media.

Skin health effects
We are not aware of the health effects of 5G radiation in the body.  5g towers radiation  is limited because of the absence of research in-vivo as well as theoretic models. There is however an urgent need for further studies on the impacts of 5G radio frequency radiation on human skin. Utilizing 5G radio frequencies may cause damage to the skin, especially to the epidermis, which is very sensitive.

Unlike 4G, 5G radiation is a high frequency which has been proven to heat human body tissues. Human body is dipolar, which means that the increased frequency of radio waves from 5G will cause heat in the skin. Exposure to 5G radio frequencies could also affect other organs of the body, including the brain.
